Festival info

1. WHEN & WHERE?

Rockfest 2019 is arranged at Hyvinkää Airfield in Hyvinkää, Finland. The dates are 7th to 9th of June 2019. The festival area will close after the final artists.

2. WHAT'S THE AGE LIMIT?

Age limit is 18 years with no exeptions.

3. WHAT IS CASHLESS?

Top up

Your payment wristband is the only accepted payment method in the venue (festival store accepts debit/credit cards). You can top it up online or on site. We recommend you to top up online. The online top-up is found here and is already open which means you can top up well in advance. We accept online banking, debit- and credit cards. If you choose to top up on site, all top-up stations are marked with “Wristband Top up” symbols in the festival map. We accept cash and card at our top up stations. 1€ is charged for each top-up. There will be another top up station at the VIP area.

Refund

You will get your unused money back after the event. You can withdraw your money back from your wristband at MyRockfest after 12:00 pm on Monday 10.6. It will take 1-3 days to get the money back to your account. We will charge a 1 € service fee for refunds. Less than 2 € refunds will not be refunded. Money can not be refunded in the event area. You can apply for refund maximum of 1 month after the festival. After 10th of July we’ll charge 10 € for any refunds.

Registering to MyRockfest with a ticket

1. Register in to MyRockfest here
2. Connect only your festival ticket to your account
3. You can now purchase merchandise in advance, upgrade your ticket and top up money to your account (Upgrade is only shown on the receipt until you go through the festival gates)
4. Do not connect your camping ticket or parking ticket to your account. If you do so go to Cashless info to solve this problem

Registering to MyRockfest with a wristband

1. Log in to MyRockfest account

2. Connect your wristband

3. Now you can connect all the tickets you have

4. You can now purchase merchandise in advance, upgrade your ticket and top up money to your account (Upgrade is only shown on the receipt until you go through the festival gates) If you have any problems WITH CASHLESS, contact: support@getcashless.fi

4. WHAT TO BRING?

  • Sunscreen
  • Hats
  • Sunglasses
  • Earplugs
  • At least two good Dad jokes
  • Non-professional film and digital cameras
  • An empty refillable bottle of any size.
  • Phone charging case or phone charger
  • A super sweet outfit
  • Small backpacks or bags
  • Blankets or beach towels
  • Valid Driver’s License for will-call and/or to drink alcohol
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Not just a good attitude…a GREAT attitude

5. WHAT NOT TO BRING?

  • Weapons of ANY kind
  • Fireworks/explosives
  • Illegal Substances
  • Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles
  • Large Umbrellas
  • Pets
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Alcohol (alcohol will be sold at the Festival)
  • Instruments
  • Chains/Chain Wallets
  • Laser pointers
  • Audio/video recording equipment
  • Drones or hover cameras
  • Anything really valuable!

6. PHOTOGRAPHY

ALLOWED: You are allowed to take photos and videos in all public areas but be polite and respect the general rules for personal privacy and use common sense.   NOT ALLOWED: You are allowed to take photos & videos with cellphone and cameras (basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts longer than 30 centimeters, and other attachments are not allowed) Media accreditation link here

7. CLOAKROOM

There will be two cloakrooms at the festival. First one before the gates and a second one inside the area.

8. SECURITY

There is nothing we care more about than your safety and well-being. As such, medical tents will be located throughout the festival grounds, and they will be clearly marked and able to be seen from afar. Trained EMTs will be on-hand in these tents to address any and all medical incidents, and please don’t be afraid to stop by a medical tent – even if you just have a question. Additionally, if you see anyone at the festival who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team, or even help him/her find their way to the medical tent(s). We are all in this together, so please look out for one another! Lastly, anyone bringing medication or a syringe for medical purposes will need to show your medication, prescription and a photo ID at the festival entrance.

12. LOST & FOUND

13. ACCESSIBILITY

A personal assistant with a disabled person is allowed to go with him for free in the festival area. A disabled person and his / her personal assistant can jointly use the VIP entrance upon their arrival at the festival area. This applies to disabled people who necessarily need a personal assistant during the event. Personal assistants will receive their own wristband at the festival gates. There’s a wider entrance on VIP-lane for those who arrive with a wheelchair. The accessibility stand is located near the main stage. Please note that the accessibility stands are limited in size. 14. FREE WATER STATIONS

Free Water stations will be located throughout the grounds for you to use at your convenience. You can see where the water stations are from the area map released closer to the event. It is EXTREMELY important that you stay hydrated at the festival, regardless of how hot it is outside.
